IPDAS searching and storage --  all of your client-related and case-related data are in one, automated database.

 

Conflicts searching:  When opening a new client or matter, you can run a conflicts report by searching for a key word in patent titles, abstracts,  specifications, citations, or trademark titles on IPDAS dockets.  You can also search for a person or entity (e.g., applicants, assignees, clients, contacts, inventors, or licensees).  Summary reports are available MS®-Word or MS®-Excel.  

Key word searching on all IPDAS cases:   Search by key word in the patent title or abstract across your entire database.

Key word searching on your citations:   Search by key word in the title and full-text of all U.S. and foreign patents stored in your database or only on those of specific clients.  You can also search the titles of or for text stored in the Search Text field on non-patent literature documents.

Narrowing your search by technology type:   Users can narrow their search by key word on the titles and abstracts of cases within a technology category. 

Storage:  IPDAS is a great storage place for various types of data, including copyees, multiple email addresses for contacts, multiple contacts for an entity or addresses for a single contact, employee information, and over 200 customizable data fields.
